Who we are
MapleWP is a trading name of Sodelia Inc., which is responsible for your information. We provide WordPress design, development and maintenance to businesses in the United States and Canada. You can reach us at contact@maplewp.com.
What we collect
Only what you give us through our forms or by email:
- Your name, email address, phone number (if you add it) and company
- Your website address
- What you tell us about your site or project, and the options you choose, such as timeline and budget
- The page you sent the form from, and campaign tags (utm values) in its address, if any
We don't take payment card details on this website. Payments are handled by our payment provider on its own secure pages.
How we use it
- To reply to you and prepare a scope, a fixed price or a health check report
- To deliver the work you hire us for
- To send you the report you asked for and updates about your project
We don't sell your information, and we don't add you to newsletters without asking. Every email we send after a health check has a one-click unsubscribe.
Who processes it for us
We use service providers to run this website, receive form submissions, manage enquiries, take payments, send email and, if enabled, measure visits with analytics. They process your information on our behalf and only to provide their service to us. Some of them store or process data outside your country. When you become a client, the people working on your project see the details they need to do the work.
Cookies and analytics
This website uses no advertising cookies. If analytics is switched on, it uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful; it sets cookies for that purpose. A chat widget, if shown, may set its own cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for up to 24 months after our last contact, and client records for as long as the work and tax or accounting rules require. You can ask us to delete an enquiry at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Depending on where you live, laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act may give you more rights. Email contact@maplewp.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
Security
Access to your information is limited to the people who need it. Please don't send passwords by email: when we need access to your site, we send a secure form.
Changes
If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
