Questions we get asked

Will my rankings survive?

That's what the process is built for. We list every URL on the old site, record current rankings and traffic, and map each old URL to its new one. The redirects go live at switch-over and we compare rankings against the baseline afterwards.

Can I keep my domain and email?

Yes. Your domain stays the same and only the website records change. Email is handled separately, and we check its DNS records before and after the switch so it keeps working.

How long is the site offline?

Usually not at all. The new site is built and checked on staging while the old one stays live, and the switch is a DNS change. Visitors may see either version for a short while as DNS updates.

What about my blog posts and images?

Posts, pages, images, files, categories and authors are moved over, with old image and post URLs redirected. We check a sample of every content type by hand after the import.

Do you migrate from Shopify?
