The situation
An events organisation needed a platform for an upcoming event, and the event date was fixed. A site that launched late would be worth nothing, so the timeline mattered more than anything else.
What we built
A new event platform with the pages an event lives on: a homepage, registration, articles and contact. The scope was agreed in writing first, with one price and a launch date, so there was no back-and-forth about what was in and what wasn't.
We built on a staging site from day one. The team at An events organisation could review pages as they were finished and approve them in days, not weeks.
The result
The platform launched in two weeks, in time for the event.
After launch
After launch the platform moved onto our care plan, so updates, backups and changes during the event were covered from day one.
